Manor Cottage
The Guest House
The Guest House is self-contained, detached, south facing and secluded, with extensive unspoiled rural views from the 30ft Living Room that is fully glazed on two sides. It affords extremely comfortable accommodation on two floors, for up to two adults. There is a kitchenette that includes a micowave oven so guests can enjoy the independence of limited self-catering if they wish, combined with the very best of B&B.
No back to back bookings are taken. Arrival and departure times are arranged to suit individual guests who are given the key for the duration of their stay and are able to come and go as they wish. Civilised dogs, that must be totally sheep-proof, are welcome at no extra charge. There are lovely walks straight from the door.
Books, paintings and furniture are from family collections. There is SKY TV & there are i-pod docks. Wifi is available FOC. There are magazines; cards; games; maps and tourism literature. The 40ft swimming pool is heated from April - October dependent on seasons. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the 2 acre garden. Planting has been prioritised for scent and to encourage birds, butterflies & bees. Newts, toads and frogs co-exist with the breeding carp in the pond.
Bagendon, inhabited for over 2,000 years, is a hamlet in one of the 'lost' valleys of Gloucestershire between Cirencester and Cheltenham. It is designated a Conservation Area and is in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
